Short stories

Life was hard. The men from the village had to work hard all day everyday in the forest or on the fishing boats. The women spent long hours in the fields. My brother had to work even though he was only eleven years old, there was never enough to eat and as our numbers grew (the community) there was less land to share around and nothing was getting better. My community was getting very tired and were arguing.

We were trying to agree were we could fish and where we could put our garden. We agreed for the most parts but there were still arguments. There were also those who stole food and clothing. The old people had enough and decided to take back control of their lives.

There were many brave warriors who for years had fought had to defend the livelihood but it. Was time to leave this place forever we gathered all the tools and would need  all the food and water we could store and then we loaded them onto the. Boats. There was no room for old people except for one ancient man, many years ago he had been to the distant land beneath the setting sun. That was to be our new home and he knew the way through the dangerous waters. I was sad to say goodbye to my grandmother and grandfather but they could not come I knew id never see them again.

I had never been to the dangerous Water before so for the first few days i was excited and proud that i haven't been seasick. before

But the sea grew bigger and lonely and scary, and when i stood up and turned all the way around. All i could see was water, then the storms came from the North i am an old man. now i have went through difficult things but even, i don't like to speak of those days anymore .

Of the storms we suffered and the suffering. Without, the end then like being shaken and awake in the middle, of a nightmare it suddenly.  stopped all of the. Boats were gone nice the Ancient man. Said that we had travelled a long way down south we were, all afraid, and even.the men wept which was bad for everyone. We could only guess what our fate was to be then one day without a warning my brother jumped into the water and started swimming away just as my father prepared to jump in after him my brother Stopped snatched something out of the water
And held it in the air, it was a branch of fresh green wood  somewhere close was land. That was many years ago and this land has been nice to us there are plenty of food to gather and from forest and birds to hunt our people have prospered we are the children of the journey we are the old people if our other people leave it will be our turn to stay behind i do not think this would happen who could Find us Here beneath the long white cloud

the circus

 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
----------------THE---------CIRCUS--------------
One fine night i went to bed with a thrilling sensational
emotion because, we are going to the circus. It was  super cool there were. Motorbikes in a globe there was a unintelligent clown and, some perplexing people that were, well trained and such astonishing and there. Was some flexible people  that could do gymnastics and then it was half time and then me and.And my mum ran over to the Pizza Hut and we ordered about five pizza's and we had lunch under a tree the pizza's cost's about 25$. And then after that I rapidly ran over, to get some popcorn and some miniature donuts. With cinnamon on it and then, it was the best part out of the circus the guy he got into the canon and then we all done a count down 3,2,1 BLAST OFF and he came out of the canon like a canon BALL and that was the end of that.                                                  Me my family and Isaac

One day in the afternoon  Keison Tahu and I. Were going to uncle Robbo's cutting space. His cutting area was full of useful wood to use for Winter. the Season was Summer and uncle Robbo brought Isaac down and he showed us were the water hole was. Me and Isaac zoomed like flash to the water hole but he jumped in before me I was too slow. After we had a blast in that water hole my dad called out ''time for lunch '' We went back to where they were cutting the wood. and there was a big BBQ and after that i had seen all the wood they chopped they done a great job i was proud of my dad. He was like a machine,and a chopping wood master and. Uncle Robbo after that we went back to the water hole but then something had changed i had seen a mullet i thought that mullet's had there own habitat in the.Big ocean me and Isaac were still hungry and I was assuming that we should try and catch the mullet. And guess what? we caught the mullet and that was the last meal of the day.

Eggs hatch after four week and the young fledge after four to five weeks during this time the parents are well known to aggressively defend their territory by dive bombing intruders often with strikes to the head drawing blood  falcons hunt live prey unlike Australasian harriers who are often seen feeding on roadkill and will dive down high speeds at 100 kph to take mainly small birds and mammals but will also feed on large insects they are often seen perched on high
